Customer's Fault Description
Despite replacing the battery, the remote will not turn the gas fire on or off. We are manually operating it from the unit rather than from the remote. There doesn't appear to be a remote connection now.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fireplace control arrived safely and on testing was found not to be transmitting a signal.

This was due to a faulty Ultrasonic Transducer, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
