Gazco Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : It no longer works to start the gas fire. Dog disassembled the remote

This fireplace control arrive safely and on inspection was found to be dismantled as per the customers description on testing the control was found to be intermittent
There was some corrosion spot on the PCB (see image), this was cleaned up and the print reworked which restored full functionality. The control was reassembled.
Please note that the remote may need to be paired with its receiver on return due to the nature of the fault. This is a simple case of pressing and holding the reset button on the receiver for a few seconds till you hear two beeps, the first beep short and the second one long. After the second beep release the reset button and then press the small flame button on the remote until you hear 2 more beeps, this confirms the code has been paired. Please ensure that full strength batteries are inserted in the receiver (4 x double A batteries)
