Hi Martin, Further to our emails over the weekend, i am sending both receiver & remote to you. The signal green light works perfectly to turn the fire off, but to turn the fire on there is no green light unless you shake the remote whilst trying to push both buttons at the same time.

Mertik maxitrol G30 ZRRS Repair

The remote seems to be working,but not sure,but receiver blinks occasionally and only moves flame knob a tiny bit,no ignition.
Last year it did the same,but I looked at the batteries and a couple corroded (Duracell),so I cleaned and put a new block in.Worked fine,then stopped again,more corrosion,so changed again,but this time still nothing,only blink when batteries are put in and initial press of left and up button simultaneously.
