These two brake tester remotes arrived safely from Ireland and on testing both were found to be dead.

The first one was found to have badly contaminated button array (see image) and also a faulty LED.  The led was replaced and the button array cleaned of all contaminants which restored full functionality, please note that the included battery is low at 5v therefore this will need replacing soon.

The second remote was missing its battery cover (this cannot be replaced as spares are not available).  There were various bad solder joints and the regulator was found to have a broken leg.  All solder joints were reworked and the bad leg resoldered.  Also the LED was replaced, this restored full functionality
