Customer's Fault Description
Hi Martin,
Further to our emails over the weekend, i am sending both receiver & remote to you.
The signal green light works perfectly to turn the fire off, but to turn the fire on there is no green light unless you shake the remote whilst trying to push both buttons at the same time.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the receiver was found not to be responding on one channel.
This was found to be due to a faulty 40.5Khz crystal in the receiver, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
