Remote was totally unresponsive....Put brand new Duracell batteries ..still unresponsive
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.

On opening the button contacts were found to be badly contaminated.  These were cleaned up but the dead issue remained.  This was found to be due to a faulty oscillator.  The oscillator was replaced which restored full functionality.
