Kal fire Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Changed the batteries after not been used for a whole. Nothing comes up on the screen

This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.
On opening there was signs of a batter leak on one of the terminals. This terminal was removed and a large mass of print corrosion was found under the terminal.
This was all cleaned up and the terminal refitted. The item then powered up but the screen was found to have many missing characters. Due to the damage a repair is sadly not possible.
