Customer's Fault Description
The remote seem to have stopped communicating with the control unit and so will not control the gas fire controls. Remote battery changed and indicator led operates. Receiver battery changed but led does not light up when remote pressed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fireplace control and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found not to be transmitting on any channel.

This was due to a faulty Ultrasonic transducer in the handset, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
