Customers Fault Description : Apple juice spilled into remote . Dryed out . Changed battery . Works fine for first cpl of days then won’t work . Put in new battery , same again works fine for couple of days then dead again .
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittent. This was found to be due to a faulty 7133 regulator. This was replaced as well as the battery cable. The item was then tested over a day and no further issue was found.
