These brake tester controls arrived safely and on inspection the button array had signs of cracks.

Initially when testing both remotes were found to be working as per normal.  After talking to the customer it was decided to add protection to the button array in case of contamination and also change the battery cables.

This was done and then when retesting the fault decided to make an appearance.  The red control was found to be transmitting without a button press.  This was an indication of a shorted button contact. The facia was peeled back and the contacts cleaned up which then restored normal functionality.
