Battery compartment damaged by corrosion. Power button will not function.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Kenwood controller arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have bad battery terminals from a leakage.  On testing the item was found to be dead.

The terminals were cleared of all contaminant and the print internally was reworked as crystalized acid was found inside (see image).

Full functionality was restored.
