This original Mark Levinson infrared remote control features a high-end, heavy-duty metal chassis with a black brushed-aluminum finish. The front faceplate displays the iconic Mark Levinson and Madrigal Audio Laboratories branding at the top, directly above a small signal indicator LED. The central control console is housed within a silver metal inset, using a unique configuration of square grey and black tactile buttons. It provides direct preamplifier adjustments including dedicated keys for setup, display, enter, polarity, mono, and balance. Volume and input management are handled by independent, vertically stacked vertical tracking keys for select (+ / -) and volume (+ / -), separated by a central mute key and a prominent black standby button. The unit operates via an infrared transmitter and is powered by two AAA batteries.
