Remote control stopped working after being fault free. Replaced battery, and remote initially worked again as expected, then stopped working again. Replaced battery again, but now remote doesn't seem to work at all.

Remote appears to work, as the display on remote works, but the control unit on the gas fire doesn't respond. After changing batteries on both remote and control unit, it worked fine for a few days then just stopped.

I termite t problems in getting the light to work when pressing the two buttons to ignite fire. Button to decrease flame or to turn off fire seems to be fine.

Bad connections I think because of degradation of outer casing of control wires. Please can you replace the damaged cable.
