Works correctly for a short time, a few hours, with new batteries But after ~ 1-2 hours screen will briefly come on showing just white, at random intervals, and it will not show a proper screen or respond to keypresses When this happens Batteries are drained

Water damage, corrosion to battery connections, all buttons were working when water damage occurred.

Gazco Gas Fire Repair
One of the wires for the battery attachment has come loose.
Willowbrook Repair
The curly cable for the remote control is in a bad way and some wires have now come loose, and the remote control no longer operates the bed. We are hoping a replacement cable will return the remote to working order.

Mertik Repair
Remote seems to be working, Receiver does not. LED flashes briefly on battery insertion, does not flash when when remote is presses
Dometic Repair
Battery terminal has broken at the bottom of remote, broken bit in casing. Casing screw missing that’s why it’s taped. Not sure if buttons are working as the motorhome is new to us and this is how we found the remote control.
