HSL 5 button Repair

All buttons struggling to work. Mainly have to press hard but even then don't work. Bottom right button seems to be the only fair working one, but not all the time.

All the lights are illuminated when buttons pressed on the controller, but the flame light dims quickly and doesnt come back on. The ON button doesn't always turn the fire on. Have changed the battery to no avail.

The device works occasionally and I can get it to work outside of the case. But I can't keep it working. It seems that the battery connection and/or the placement of the remote and/or the buttons are failing.

My fire remote stopped igniting my fire.. The gas engineer said it was probably the remote but didnt know for sure, if it was the problem or not.. No guarantees.. So rather than just buy a new one I thought I would get you to check it out first. In the hope its just faulty.

Mertik Maxitrol G6R-H4T5-GA Repair

Remote will not read full voltage, with new Duracell battery installed. May power up unit, but will then fail to power down. Repeated power offs fail to control fire. Suspect internal regulator failure.
