The battery low level warning indicator on the remote control screen is always displayed even when a new battery is inserted into the device. The remote control device seems to have power from the battery as other values and icons are displayed on the remote control screen. The remote control device fails to connect with the gas fire and the fire can not be operated.

Aura Lanscape Repair
The fine black wire has become detached from the black top which has the battery’s contact points on. The red wire is still intact. Also the lid has to be closed with cello tape. All the buttons work. The little light does not light up….. probably because the battery isn’t working! The battery is new.

For some time its been working intermittently on all the buttons but now seems to have given up completely. I recoated the buttons with conductive paint but that made no difference. Probably should have left it alone any way perhaps you could have a look for me.

Despite 2x new batteries, no button appears to work. Its twin (s/n 306463)for a 2nd door, bought at the same time, works on both roller doors. No obviously failed components nor suspicious battery connections.
