Erratic function Sometimes all lights lit with no button being pressed, sometimes no lights at all. Sometimes flickering Sometimes one or two buttons work briefly (a few seconds), then no response at all. After a period of "rest", might work for 10 seconds or so, then no function

The remote light works.but reciever not recieving signal.

wont switch one - tried new batteries and nothing. Fireplace is only about 3 years old and only been on about 5 times in total. There is no other way to switch on the fire other than remote so we are a bit snookered.
